Peller blasts parents for turning his wedding into party with their lovers

Popular Nigerian TikToker Peller has expressed frustration over his family’s conduct at his wedding, claiming that his parents and other relatives turned the ceremony into a party after bringing their romantic partners.

In a video, the content creator said he had instructed his family to invite only a few people because he wanted to keep the wedding intimate.

“Mama oh, papa oh, brother and everybody want turn to social media. I dey vex oh, me and my family, I dey vex for them like this, make you know say no be small,” he said.

Peller explained that despite his request, some of his family members allegedly brought additional guests, including their partners.

“I told them, I change it for them, oh, no be small, oh. No be small, na. That’s why I dey do like this, I tell them, invite few people,” he said.

He specifically claimed that his mother came with her boyfriend while his father brought his girlfriend, adding that their presence changed the atmosphere of the occasion.

“Make una carry new boyfriend come, my mother carry her boyfriend come, my daddy carry new girlfriend come. All of them will turn my wedding to party, eh!” he lamented.

Peller attributed part of the situation to the complexities of growing up in a polygamous family, describing such family structures as difficult to manage.

“Polygamous, polygamous family, na. It’s very hard. I am from a polygamous family,” he said.

He further noted that managing the extended family dynamics had made the experience even more complicated, as he continued to express his displeasure over how his wedding was handled.
